On January 12, 2020, Taal volcano had phreatic eruption, prompting the evacuation of thousands of people to nearby municipalities for their safety.
That triggers the initiative of HR students from Universidad de Manila to help the victims this volcano erupction which they called “HRCares” which asks for assistance and donations to help the Batangeño evacuees.
HRSAP-UDM officers lead the way and been an instrument to those students and individuals who wants to help. First wave of donations are forwarded to NMax Club of the Philippines Team Manila for their relief distribution.
HRSAP-UDM Team also offer there service as a volunteer for packing and distribution of goods and forwarded second wave of donations to Manila United Lions Club to cater over 23 public and private evacuation center around the City of Batangas.
The project “HRCares” is created not just for a fulfill our corporate social responsibility but to make an impact that us- “HR must lead by example.”
